Marine diesel gensets from 3.5 kW to 1,437 kWe (Whisper Power, Kohler, Volvo Penta, Mitsubishi), plus custom commercial gensets built by BMG Power Systems on AGCO Power/Sisu, Volvo Penta or Mitsubishi engines.
Description
BMG Power Systems supplies marine diesel gensets for vessels from small workboats to ocean-going ships, in constant and variable speed versions from 3.5 kW to 1,437 kWe. The company also builds fully customised commercial marine gensets.

- Whisper Power variable speed gensets: 3.5–12 kWe
- Whisper Power fixed speed (1500 rpm): 12–40 kWe / 50 Hz
- Kohler fixed speed (1500 rpm): 5–450 kWe / 50 Hz
- Volvo Penta fixed speed (1500 rpm): 62–504 kWe / 50 Hz
- Mitsubishi fixed speed (1500 rpm): 522–1,437 kWe / 50 Hz
Custom gensets
- Based on AGCO Power/Sisu, Volvo Penta or Mitsubishi diesel engines
- Stamford or Leroy-Somer alternators to customer requirements
- Custom variable speed gensets available with Danfoss Editron alternators
Emissions note
From 1 January 2021, new installations or repowers of gensets over 130 kW mechanical power on vessels operating in the Baltic Sea and North Sea emission control area (NECA) must comply with IMO Tier III, requiring selective catalytic reduction (SCR).
