Danfoss was founded in 1933 by Mads Clausen and remains a family-owned company. It serves customers in more than 100 countries and describes its mission as engineering solutions that increase machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption and enable electrification.
The group is organized in businesses including Danfoss Power Solutions, Danfoss Climate Solutions and Sensing Solutions; Editron is part of Power Solutions. Danfoss Editron states that it has over 50 years of history and experience in electrification.
