Stromag Component
Stromag Torsional Vibration Analysis (TVA)
Stromag torsional vibration analysis service calculating stationary and transient loads in crankshaft, coupling and driven side to select couplings that avoid critical speeds in the drive train.
Description
Stromag Torsional Vibration Analysis (TVA) is the engineering analysis at the core of Stromag coupling design. It evaluates loads in the crankshaft, coupling and driven side to ensure no critical speeds occur in operation.
Scope
- Calculation of stationary and transient operating conditions
- Accounts for stiffness and damping of the coupling elastomers
- Measurement of uneven rotation to detect deviations
- Coupling selection to protect the complete powertrain
