Description

The Max Power CT125-IP is the largest ignition protected tunnel thruster in the Max Power range: a 24 V unit with a 185 mm tunnel and a thrust rating of 117 kg / 257 lbs, suitable for motor boats and deep-footed sailing yachts from 35' to 58' where extra thrust is required. Ignition protected thrusters have a fully sealed housing around every electric part, so fuel fumes cannot reach the electrics and cause spark ignition, and water and humidity are kept out of the electrical area.

Notes

Thrusters are designed to run at 10.75 V on 12 V units and 22 V on 24 V units; higher voltages give higher thrust and power consumption but a reduced duty cycle.
Performance data applies to installation at an immersion depth of one tunnel diameter, in a tunnel no longer than twice its diameter (±6%). Longer tunnels reduce thrust and increase power consumption.
