Description
The Clean Marine Adaptive Air Lubrication System (ALS) injects a thin layer of air beneath the hull in a proprietary configuration, replacing water with air to reduce frictional drag. Clean Marine states fuel savings of 5–8% and improved CII ratings. The system is installed on six Navig8 MR tanker newbuilds delivered in 2024.
