Laborde Holds Open House at New Facility
To celebrate its new location in San Antonio, Texas, Laborde Equipment Services (LES) opened its doors to customers and associates at an open house. The facility was overflowing as the company welcomed over 125 guests at the event. Participants were given a facility tour, while also learning more about LES and its extensive line of products and services available to the South Texas market. Laborde's senior staff, including Tracy Laborde, Brian Laborde, Doug Oehrlein, Joe Manning, Jr., Trace Laborde, and Marc Laborde, was also on hand to welcome customers.
"The entire Laborde team was looking forward to showing customers and associates the new LES facility," said Doug Oehrlein, Laborde's VP of sales and marketing. "We wanted to show our customers all the products we have to offer in a more casual environment, while also highlighting the expertise of the LES team. It's great to have this new facility right in the midst of the booming Eagle Ford Shale area. Opening this division shows how, as always, Laborde is committed to providing customers with the right products for their applications and then providing them with the right service and right support to keep that product working."
Several Laborde Products Diesel America pump packages, generator packages, and pressure washers were on display and ready for guests to inspect up close. But, the new LES DA-99-C6 portable pump package stole most of the attention. The DA-99-C6 is designed primarily for transferring water and fluids in the bustling and fast-growing Eagle Ford Shale market.
In addition to the LES product displays, guests were also able to view and experience products from several other companies that LES represents. Fifteen interactive display stations were placed on-site for customers to demo. Participating vendors included Mitsubishi Engine North America, FPT Powertrain Technologies, AKSA USA, EPAC, Power Equipment Group, Barnes Distributing, M&D Distributing, Baldwin Filters, Power Quik Starters, Mid-Tex Oil, Continental Battery, BASCO Generators, Tejas Performance Energy, and Sunbeam Innovations.
Guests were served Texas T-bone steaks and grilled chicken with all the trimmings and dessert as they were introduced to the local team of engine and equipment professionals and associates.
