Indmar Marine Engines announced the completion of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 audit for its corporate office and manufacturing facility in Millington, TN.

As a company in the inboard marine industry, Indmar decided that pursuing an ISO 9001:2015 certification was the next step towards their mission of continuous quality improvements.  ISO 9001:2015 certification is the world's most recognized quality management standard.  Certification is voluntary and compliance must be verified through an independent agency.  Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., a certification company, reviewed Indmar’s management system and provided certification to the standard as an independent third party.  A yearly audit will be conducted to maintain Indmar’s certification status, with a more extensive audit every three years .

“Each and every day we strive to be the best, provide the most innovative, highest performing and most durable inboard marine engines available, explained Scott Clack, Vice President of Business Development. “The rigor and discipline required to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 certification and audit process is a testament of our core values and consistent approach of placing quality at the heart of our company .”
