RAD Propulsion

RAD was founded in 2018 by Rich Daltry and Dan Hook, who had previously built and developed advanced marine robotic vessels for the offshore, defence and oceanographic sectors. The head office is at Universal Marina in Sarisbury Green, Southampton, UK.

The team covers product design, mechanical and automotive engineering, and electrical, electronics, software and systems engineering. Its stated aim is to integrate propulsion, control, power management and connectivity into modular electric systems with open, scalable architectures that are simple to service and upgrade.

Products are sold through dealers in the UK, Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. RAD works with The Sustainability Group and its FuturePlus platform to track, measure and manage its sustainability practices.
