P2000 In-situ CEM
Protea P2000 stack-mounted in-situ infrared multi-gas analyser for continuous emission monitoring (CEMS), EEx d flameproof hazardous-area certified, measuring up to six gases; suited to marine applications.
Description
The Protea P2000 In-Situ CEM is a stack-mounted, multi-component infrared gas and liquid analyser that, connected to a Protea Control Unit, forms a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS). It measures the stack gas directly without sample-handling equipment, and its low maintenance requirements make it suited to remote sites and marine applications.
Key features
- In-situ measurement on the stack, no sample handling system
- Monitors gases "wet", with continuous water vapour measurement so pollutants can be reported on a wet or dry basis
- Heated probe keeps wetted components above the dew point, for corrosive applications
- Fully automated zero and verification; advanced diagnostics continuously report health status
- Accepts signals from adjacent instruments (oxygen, particulates/dust, velocity) to report concentrations normalised to oxygen or as mass emissions (kg/hr)
Measured gases
Up to six gas species, including NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, NH3, HCl, CH4, CO, CO2 and H2O.
Certifications
- Hazardous-area certified EEx d (flameproof), so no purge control equipment is needed; ATEX / IECEx
- MCERTS product conformity certificate
- Compliant with EN14181 and US EPA 40 CFR Part 60 & 75
Applications
- Continuous emission monitoring and process applications, including marine applications
- Installed in over 4000 installations worldwide
