LTX Series Waterjets

HamiltonJet LTX Series waterjets optimised for 0–30 knots, with up to 40% more bollard pull, compact inboard footprint, electric/hybrid and diesel compatibility, and AVX controls; models LTX36 and LTX53.

Description

The HamiltonJet LTX Series is a low-speed-efficient, lightweight waterjet range designed to rival the performance, energy efficiency and bollard pull of propeller systems at low to medium speeds (0–30 knots). It uses a large nozzle, lower input energy and lower jet velocity.

Key features

  • Up to 40% more bollard pull and greater sway thrust than other waterjets (manufacturer claim)
  • Compact design allows larger jet diameter in narrow hulls
  • Low-loss steering and thrust vectoring for efficient manoeuvring
  • Inboard impeller for shallow-water operation and safety for swimmers and marine animals
  • Up to 10x greater corrosion resistance in brackish water; internal anode life extended to two years
  • Improved hydraulic steering with optimised seal pack; fully integrated inboard hydraulics
  • Ultra-compact inboard footprint, narrow jet spacing and low profile; can be installed late in the build
  • Compatible with major electric motor makers and a range of diesel engines; some direct-drive configurations possible
  • Designed to pair with the AVX control system

Models

  • LTX36
  • LTX53
