Metalube Expands Manufacturing Capacity

Reporting an upsurge in product demand, lubricants manufacturer Metalube has recently taken possession of the industrial unit located adjacent to its current site, increasing the space available to the company by over 70 percent.

Metalube now occupies a 1-hectare site, which includes a 2,500 sq. meter covered factory, warehousing and office space alongside a brand new state-of-the-art laboratory. The company has also purchased four new Jungheinrich fork-lift trucks to service this new and improved site. Two new blending tanks have also been purchased, which enhance manufacturing capability, enabling the company to keep up with increased demand.

Metalube Commercial Director Douglas Hunt said the expansion came about when the site next door became available as Metalube was outgrowing its existing facility. The combined sites were then blended together.

“As a management team, we have made an ongoing commitment to invest profits back into the business, improving the way we work and adding to our productivity,” he added.

METALUBE manufactures a range of nonferrous drawing oils and maintenance lubricants as well as a variety of corrosion protection and forming oils. This exporter already has offices in China, India, Brazil and UAE.
