About
PowerCell Sweden AB was founded in 2008 as an industrial spin-out from the Volvo Group and is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Since 2023 the company shares (PCELL) have been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
The group has further offices in New York (Powercell, Inc.) and Frankfurt (PowerCell Deutschland GmbH) and works with distributors in other markets. It holds ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental certificates.
The stated mission is to drive the transition to zero-emission energy solutions; in shipping the company supplies fuel cell power for vessels and ports and takes part in projects on fuel cell durability and methanol-to-fuel-cell power chains.
