EST-Floattech is a Dutch energy technology company with its headquarters and production centre in Badhoevedorp, the Netherlands. Its roots go back to Floattech, founded in 2005 as an integrator of electrical installations for superyachts, and ESTechnologies, founded in 2009 to supply maritime battery management systems. The two were brought together as EST-Floattech B.V. in 2015.
The first maritime lithium-ion system, the DNV type approved Green Orca, was delivered in 2012, and the marine certified Octopus Series followed in 2022. The company reports a track record of more than 300 projects for clients worldwide.
The stated goal is a sustainable future with zero-emission shipping.
