About

Blokland Non Ferro is based in Sliedrecht in the Netherlands. Jan Blokland began building yachts with his brother Wim in 1962 and made small heat exchangers for them, which other companies soon started to order. In 1969 the brothers acquired the Non Ferro Gieterij foundry; the business was split shortly afterwards and Jan Blokland continued as Blokland Non Ferro.

Design and production of box coolers and propeller shaft systems started in the early 1980s. After the founder died in 1996 his daughter Corine took over the business. Amartech was acquired in 2014, which considerably enlarged the propulsion department, and two new production halls were built in 2017.

The headquarters is at Lelystraat 106 in Sliedrecht, with a south office in Beugen. The company presents itself as Blokland Cooling & Propulsion and is part of Blokland Group.
