Babcock LGE

Babcock LGE is the liquid gas equipment business of Babcock International Group, a UK-based engineering group active in the marine, nuclear, land and aviation sectors. Within the group it belongs to the marine sector and to the product activities described as design, develop and manufacture.

According to the group website, the LGE business has received the 150th order for its ecoSMRT LNG reliquefaction system and has announced a next-generation version of that technology. Other reported milestones are a successful gas trial of a vessel equipped with ecoCO2, a first contract for an ammonia fuel supply system and an Approval in Principle for an onboard carbon capture system.
