Monico and CMR Form Strategic Alliance

Monico Monitoring, Inc., a company in the industrial monitoring and control solutions market, formed a strategic alliance with CMR Group, a manufacturer of industrial engine controls, wiring harnesses and electrical management systems.

The move will see the companies working closer together on both existing and new projects to develop and grow business in core industrial engine, genset and gas compressor markets around the world.

Through this partnership, Monico, whose international customer base includes, among others, the end users of Caterpillar, Cummins and MTU equipment, will be providing strategic guidance to CMR on developing its presence in a burgeoning US end-user components market. In return, Texas based Monico will be able to utilize increased access to CMR’s global network of customers to expand its international reach.

CMR, which has operations in the Europe, Africa, the Far East and the US and includes Cummins, Allen Diesels and Wärtsilä among its customers, supplies  control, safety and monitoring systems, industrial sensors, pre-engineered wiring harness systems and low-voltage and medium-voltage switchboards  for global offshore platforms and vessels, marine, engine and industrial applications.

Monico provides superior communications products and technical assistance across the industrial marketplace and has long been a leader in CAT equipment due to its exclusive ability to communicate across CAT Data Link. In recent years, the company has expanded its capabilities to Cummins, MTU, Kohler and John Deere equipment and specializes in integrating customers’ assets into overall control and monitoring systems.
