Laborde welcomes New Louisiana Dealer

Already a big fan of industrial engines provided by Laborde Products, American Rental Equipment general manager Jonah LaLonde was eager to become a Laborde certified dealer.  The Lafayette, Louisiana, company now services and performs warranty work for Diesel America, Yanmar and Hatz products.

Founded in 2004, American Rental serves the construction, utilities, oil and gas industries and municipalities.  The single-source retailer offers 140,000 products from 600 of the world's most recognized manufacturers.  In addition to premier rental and service departments, they are authorized sales representatives for some of the top equipment manufacturers in the United States. "We did research and found that Laborde has a great reputation and wasn't yet represented in this immediate area," said LaLonde.  "In anticipation of increased business, we're moving into a much larger facility that will provide both of us with great exposure."  Based in Covington, Louisiana, Laborde has provided high-quality products to the U.S. Gulf Coast industrial market for more than 25 years.  It distributes Yanmar, Mitsubishi, FPT and Hatz Diesel engines.  Laborde also packages its own diesel-powered equipment under Diesel America.
